Cant see that Im that interesting, but here goes: I live on the Isle of wight with my Fiancee Lisa, we both craft, Lisa favouring scrapbooking, but I go for as much as I can LOL I love to make cards and scrap, parchment craft and even indulge in tapestry, when unable to move from the Sofa. I spend hours in front of the computer making my own decoupage, and looking for interesting ideas and for new inspiration. I could spend most of the rest of my life with scissors in hand, and my beloved computer of course!
I was a semi pro singer from the age of 16 up until last year when I damaged my back and havent been able to work since. The disability has left me pretty much housebound and, as my partner works, I have many hours alone to play to my hearts content - Thank the lord for the ability to craft! I do miss the singing part, but I can still do that at home when I get the urge.
I have a daughter and Son in law and a beautiful little granddaughter living in Suffolk, but the majority of my family are in Ontario Canada. We visit when possible but life has become a little difficult, to say the least. I lived near to Cambridge for 25 years and have been on the Island since 1990. I feel I am very lucky to live here on the Ise of wight... The views are stunning and there are many parts that are unspoiled by houses etc. I have always been a keen birdwatcher and pre-disability I used to walk miles, having covered much of the island, I hope to be able to walk again someday. Camping now is out of the question so we are saving hard for a caravan or tourer (dreams*)
